Visionary producer, songwriter, and creative executive Cece steps into a bold new era with her latest release.
Rising artist, producer, and songwriter Cece, also known as Big Cece (Chinasa Gift Nwokocha), will release the official music video for her new single, “One of One”. Blending commercial appeal with authentic storytelling, the record highlights Cece’s confidence, originality, and creative vision while introducing audiences to the next chapter of her artistic journey.

Born in a small village in Nigeria and later naturalized in the United States, Cece was raised in the Bronx, New York, where her passion for music began through poetry, creative writing, and alternative freestyle rap. Encouraged by her mother to study piano, she developed a strong musical foundation that would later evolve into producing, songwriting, and vocal performance.
A gifted student, Cece attended specialized schools focused on the performing arts, where she excelled in music, writing, athletics, mathematics, and physics. She became known for her creative writing, publishing poetry at an early age and winning a school-wide poetry recital competition. Those experiences continue to shape her artistry today.
In addition to music, Cece received formal training in jazz, Afrobeat, and hip-hop dance, competed in basketball, and participated in theater productions as both an actor and creative contributor. Her ability to combine multiple creative disciplines into one artistic vision has become one of her defining strengths.
Determined to build a lasting career in entertainment, Cece studied business to better understand the intersection of creativity and entrepreneurship. In 2017, she secured her first music partnership through a joint venture with an angel investor and business mentor Matthew Scalaro, leveraging an ecosystem she had been building since 2013 through live events, fashion show concerts, merchandise, financial literacy initiatives, and independent music releases.
Her producer project, If Not Me Then Who, established her as both an artist and a respected behind-the-scenes creative. Released independently in 2021, the project accumulated more than one million digital streams across platforms and showcased her talents as a producer, songwriter, executive producer, and talent developer.
Throughout her career, Cece has contributed to the growth and development of artists including K Camp, Yung Tory, Minz, Bella Shmurda, Capella Grey, Amber Simone, Miriam Sintim, Ivan Brooks, Bad Boy Timz, Hameed, Jahmill, and Remi Roxx. Her work has also extended to global tours, nationwide college tours, major concert activations featuring artists such as Fireboy DML, Asake, and Joeboy, along with collaborations involving So Drewski, Culture Fest, Daze Summit, and nationally syndicated radio campaigns.
Over the past 18 months, Cece has continued building her reputation behind the scenes as a songwriter, producer, vocal producer, and creative executive. Her recent work includes collaborations connected to Bad Boy Timz, Asake, Capella Grey, Remi Roxx, Fergie Baby, AO Aliente, Pheelz, and Yung Caza. She has also contributed to writing and production sessions supporting projects associated with Cardi B and Atlantic Records, while collaborating with Spacey Kay on creative initiatives benefiting Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and Doja Cat. Most recently, she has provided recording and vocal production services for creative campaigns delivered to Acrisure.
Now, Cece is stepping further into the spotlight with “One of One,” a record that embodies confidence, individuality, and perseverance.
