Dailla is a singer, songwriter, and composer who writes from the heart and performs from the gut. Drawing inspiration from her background as a psychology student, her music explores how people think, feel, and connect, touching on love, confusion, and the quiet frustration of living in a society that often asks us to be less.
“I can become bolder, louder, and a little more out of line on stage,” Dailla explains. “It’s my way of going against society’s pressure to be perfect at all times.”
A true multi-instrumentalist, Dailla plays piano, guitar, drums, and vocals, giving her complete creative freedom to shape her sound from the inside out. Raised on classic rock, she grew up surrounded by raw guitars, big emotions, and unfiltered intensity, elements that still echo strongly through her musical DNA today. Her modern influences include Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, whose emotionally driven pop inspires her to create music that is both bold and vulnerable.
Blending alternative pop with deep, introspective lyricism, Dailla crafts immersive sonic landscapes filled with raw emotion and ethereal textures. With every release, she continues to refine her artistic identity, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining an intimate and authentic connection with her audience.
Now, Dailla releases her powerful new single ‘lalalove me’, a 2-minute-and-33-second alt-pop rock track that confronts pressure, judgment, and the courage it takes to stay true to yourself.
The song was born out of a deeply frustrating industry experience. After seeking guidance from so-called professionals, Dailla was met with criticism rather than support.
“At that meeting, I was told I wasn’t interesting enough, that I should shave my head or dye my hair red to be ‘something’,” Dailla recalls. “They came completely unprepared. They didn’t know my songs and were looking at my Instagram for the first time during the meeting. They talked about me as if I wasn’t even there. No one really cared about my music or who I am as an artist. ‘lalalove me’ came from that frustration and anger, from being judged and almost written off without any real effort to understand me as an artist or a person.”
‘lalalove me’ speaks to a world that is quick to label and slow to listen, continuing Dailla’s signature storytelling approach. It’s a reminder that not every opinion deserves to shape you, and that staying true to yourself can be the most powerful form of resistance. The message is clear: even when others doubt you, judge you, or don’t know how to “handle” you, trust your voice and keep moving toward your dream.
Musically, the track blends alternative pop-rock with a darker, emotional edge. A distinctive, droning electric guitar motif runs throughout the song, supported by rougher, more forceful drums. Dailla’s vocal performance is raw, expressive, and emotionally charged, amplifying the honesty of the lyrics and underscoring her authenticity.
The music video for “Lalalove Me” works with the concept of four different versions of Dailla competing with each other to prove which one is the “best.” Barbie Dailla, Real Dailla, Psycho Dailla, and Bossy Dailla meet in one place — at a job interview, where they must justify their own existence.
Each of them represents a different side of her personality, a different response to social pressure, and a different way of coping with prejudice. While “Barbie Dailla” tries to fit in and meet expectations, “Bossy Dailla” appears confident and uncompromising, “Psycho Dailla” unleashes suppressed anger and raw emotions, and the authentic Dailla searches for balance between them.
With a touch of exaggeration, the video portrays the inner conflict and the absurdity of a situation in which a person is forced to “choose” who they are supposed to be — instead of simply being themselves. Dailla collaborated with Native Films on the production of the music video.
“Dailla is an artist who leads with honesty and fearlessness,” says Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “With ‘lalalove me’, she turns personal frustration into a powerful statement about self-worth, creative integrity, and resilience. It’s a song that captures exactly where she is right now; unapologetic, emotionally raw, and ready to be heard.”
Previous singles such as ‘Middle Stone’, ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Running Wild’, ‘Cupid’, ‘Garden’, ‘Some Love’, ‘Twisted Heart’, and ‘It’s You’ showcase Dailla’s signature mix of catchy melodies, playful textures, and sharp production, a sound that has helped define her artistic identity and grow her fanbase. With hooks made for dancing and lyrics made to sing along to, Dailla’s music lingers long after the last note fades.
With ‘lalalove me’, Dailla doesn’t just release a song; she makes a statement.
