Decent ran a Playlisting campaign for melodic pop-dance track ‘Reason Why’. Matt saw an increase of 127% in monthlies as well as algorithmic longevity, seeing the song continue to gain streams beyond its initial 134,000. Placements on huge independent playlists benefited Matt’s Spotify profile, with inclusion on the likes of EDM UP by The Way Is Up, EDM Collective by Luxos Music, House Arena by Music Arena and Musica Electronica by Make Music Not War.
Algorithmic placements included The Needle / France and The Needle / Thailand, which prove that our targeting efforts were effective, and that everything is healthy, and relevant in terms of Matt’s existing demographic.
