Decent had the privilege of working with Lina Maxine across a string of single releases, building up to the release of her alt-glam-pop 6-track EP ‘You’re My Only Friend’. We ran Press campaigns for single ‘Let Me’ (both the fully produced and acoustic version) and EADGBE, securing press with the likes of Notion, Earmilk, New Noise, Flaunt, Music News and Backseat Mafia.
For her full EP release, we secured an in-depth premiere on Wonderland, as well as a string of other publications such as popular American zine CULTR and acclaimed music and fashion tastemaker Rollacoaster. Lina also had the opportunity to speak on the all-women radio show ‘Loud Women’ ran by Louder Than War, in which she spoke of her influences, inspirations and process behind the creation of her EP.

Playlisting
Our waterfall Playlisting campaigns built upon one track to the next, with each of their releases. We covered all six tracks from the EP. Highlight placements included Guitar Rock 2023, Indie Mellow, Pop Hits 2023 and Rocking Guitars.
Our streams were carefully targeted to genre-specific audiences, and health-checked to ensure zero bot activity. ‘Let Me’ performed particularly well out of the 6 tracks, garnering +62,000 streams.
We hope to continue to work with Lina in future, and have our sights firmly set on securing some solid Editorial playlist placement for upcoming releases, as well as continuing to capitalize on her strong artist identity for promotion moving forwards. We consider next steps to include some brand partnerships, with suitable fashion outlets, for instance.
