We helped Hugo grow his industry connections

Industry gatekeepers can be hesitant to support up-and-coming artists, features in established and credible music publications have a significant impact on their decision making, and helps to reassure them that they’re backing a recognised act.

We hear time and time again of instances where artists go on to sign major deals with labels, land rotations with radio that earn significant royalties, chosen for festival slots, win funding and a wealth of other benefits after artists obtain reputable press.

Land Editorials with Playlists

We Secured Editorial Playlists

Editorial playlists on Spotify are one of the strongest credibility signals an artist can secure. They position an artist’s music within trusted, curated environments where listeners actively seek new discovery. While the immediate lift in streams is valuable, the deeper impact lies in increased saves, followers, and algorithmic traction that can lead to placements in Discover Weekly and Release Radar. Editorial support also carries industry weight, signalling to managers, agents, and media that the artist is culturally relevant, commercially viable, and worth serious attention.

Independent playlists

Having amassed over 10 million Spotify streams, Hugo was looking for Playlisting support to further strengthen his Spotify following. Playlisting wins included a placement on The Listening Post Editorial Playlist, a host of independent playlists such as Pull Your ROCKS Up and Indie Rock, as well as several Algorithmic playlists including The Sound of Dallas Texas and The Edge of Alternative Dance.

Algorithmic playlists like these playlists are dynamically generated based on user-listening habits and ensure the track is introduced to the most relevant audiences by honing in on which genres the artist is most closely aligned with.

OBJECTIVE 3.0

Deep Engagement with Ads Marketing

Meta conversion ads drive deep engagement because they optimise for meaningful actions such as saves, sign-ups, and purchases rather than passive clicks. By targeting users most likely to complete those actions, the algorithm learns quickly and begins delivering an artist’s music to audiences who are genuinely invested rather than casually scrolling.
