CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Before partnering with Decent’s music marketing team, Colby! had no prior releases, no fanbase, no algorithmic presence, and no label support.

Over the course of a long-term, multi release music marketing campaign, we worked closely with her team to build a strategic foundation from the ground up. Spanning four singles across seven months, the campaign combined playlist pitching, digital PR, and fan acquisition ads — helping turn a completely unknown artist into one with real momentum, industry recognition, and a major label deal.

 
CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVE

The objective was to grow her visibility, increase engagement, and establish a credible presence across streaming platforms and press so that Colby! would progress their music career.

We incrementally built momentum through their first few releases via a structured music marketing strategy that included Spotify promotion, music PR, and paid social ads.

Colby! quickly gained momentum on Spotify, reaching 41,086 monthly listeners, 293 followers, and a total of 102,828 streams. Early exposure includes placement on two editorial playlists and 22 press mentions. ‘Gone to Bed’ secured 22 articles and features from our publicists, and reached an audience of over 970,000 readers, two high-tier music outlets: EARMILK and Music News.

Colby’s track ‘Gone to Bed’ was featured on key editorial playlists across major platforms, including Apple Music’s New In Pop (position 34 in 86 countries) and Spotify’s Fresh Finds Pop (position 17 with 215,855 followers). Additional placements on popular Spotify playlists such as Trending Hits 2024, Indie Vibes 2024, Lana Del Rey <3, and Morning Mood Booster helped expand her reach to audiences totalling hundreds of thousands of followers. These playlist inclusions significantly boosted her visibility and streaming growth during the campaign.
