The pair have released three singles so far - the first was 'Listen Up', followed by 'Alone' and 'Ghost'. Go have a listen here: www.songwhip.com/artist/moodbay
Influences: Radiohead, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Little Dragon, The Weeknd, Portishead, Massive Attack, Christine and the Queens, Lorde, James Blake
Moodbay’s first single ‘Listen Up’ was called a ‘startling debut’ by legendary BBC DJ Janice Long. Their second release ‘Alone’ was premiered by North East music magazine NARC Online and championed by Bob Fisher of BBC Music Introducing Tees and Nick Roberts of BBC Music Introducing North East. 'Ghost' features saxophone by BBC Young Musician of the Year Alexander Bone, and the track has so far received praise from a host of independent bloggers and playlisters.
Highlights on the live side of things include performing at two Metro Radio events - headlining at Saltwell Park Fireworks in Gateshead and playing at the Newcastle Christmas Lights 2019 alongside Sam Fender (to an audience of 10,000). They also supported indie band Plastic Mermaids and electro-pop outfit Deco, thanks to SSD Concerts.

Sounds like: moodpop
'The pair’s sound, also known as moodpop, is a luscious blend of pop, R&B, club and electronica, erupting with flair and unstoppable grooves.' - Colorising
