Meet The Team
Olly Davies is a 21 year recent graduate from the University of East Anglia. His study of English literature has honed his ability at both written and verbal communication - so say hello, he’s friendly! Throughout his time at university he operated as a freelancer within the music industry, including working at high profile events such as the Brighton Great Escape Festival.
Olly’s literary background is accompanied with years worth of experience as a singer in a range of gigging bands spanning a plethora of genres including: Funk, Soul, Jazz, Pop and Dixieland swing. His skills with the guitar were employed to help advertise Fender’s new paramount guitar range.
Olly is also a songwriter himself releasing pop music as a solo artist. Such releases have lead to podcast interviews and experience on national radio; Olly is equally comfortable behind a microphone or computer keyboard. The result of his time as a working musician and songwriter is - as clichéd as it may sound - a deep passion for all forms of music.
This passion is most evident in Olly’s support of new music and emerging artists, especially in helping promote them to the wider audiences they deserve.
Social Media Manager
Over the last two years, studying Music with Enterprise at the University of Leeds, Wilf has been able to explore a wide range of facets of both music and entrepreneurship, such as contemporary composition and marketing. Although he enjoys playing his saxophone in the Leeds University Big Band and in various other events, his focus predominantly lies in the management of musical talent and showcasing aspiring artists with exciting potential.
By creating and coordinating a school festival-themed concert, Wilf familiarised himself with the logistics of event management as well as the process of identifying a setlist and directing their performances. Of late, he has been preparing the launch of a YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing small yet impressive artists from a stripped back and intimate live setting. Away from music, you can also find him on the tennis court or in the Cornish sea enjoying the surf.

Anna founded Decent a year ago, after taking charge of the PR for her own band, electropop duo Moodbay.
Anna is from the North-East, UK. After studying French at Oxford University, she worked in art galleries and museums, both at home and abroad, including the famous Drouot auction house in Paris and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. She started writing music while working at these places, and then went to study a songwriting course at BIMM Manchester. There she found Moodbay partner, producer-songwriter Alfie Cattell. The pair have gigged across the UK, and are gaining success over on radio, with their latest single 'Like Nobody Else' having recently made it to the BBC Wales A Playlist for 3 weeks running.
Realising the music industry is where she belongs, Anna loves running Decent Music PR, and helping other bands to gain traction.
