Founder & Publicist

I've lived in some amazing cities including Paris, Oxford and Venice, working across art galleries. I moved to the music-loving city of Manchester, UK to pursue songwriting. I've met some incredible people along the way, in all areas of the music industry; from labels to management and promotion. Back in my hometown in the North-East of England I set up Decent, working with local talent to start with. Now we work with artists all over the world!

Since I can remember, music has been a huge passion of mine. I started taking singing at the age of 15. I studied it at GCSE, achieved a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Industry at College, and finally moved to London to pursue my dream to go to University and gained a BA First-Class Honours  Degree in Music Industry Practice at ACM (The Academy for Contemporary Music). I gig regularly as a solo artist, playing my acoustic guitar and perform lead vocals for several bands. Music runs through my blood. Being a part of Decent allows me to help Artists achieve their dreams.

My background is the B2B marketing space delivering campaigns for major international brands. I was always involved in Music working with artists in a management capacity as well as curating festival stages and helping bands to secure slots at major festivals in the UK. After 15 years in the B2B space I moved full time into Music PR and have worked across many verticals working with Independent and major artists helping to grow their audiences.  A highlight was managing an artist and securing a record deal which then led to UK support slots for the legendary UK band ' The Libertines'.

My love for music started within production and audio engineering. I got a degree in Music Production & Engineering from BIMM University. I then decided to develop my passion for music business, completing 3 internships within production management, festival management and PR. I've worked for some amazing companies, finetuning my skills within Digital Marketing, Branding, Publishing, Artist Management, Business Development, Music NFTS and more. With over 10 years of experience, I've helped many artists to go above and beyond their own expectations. I will never fall out of love with this industry!

Since childhood, I've always had a passion for music. In my teen years, I began recording music professionally but had a halt to focus on my education and secure a degree in History & Diplomatic studies. After University, I became a professional music journalist covering some of the biggest stories & celebrities from the African continent & beyond. My editorial pieces led to my being recognized by The Recording Academy (The GRAMMYs). My burning desire to help artists succeed led to me delving into PR and ensuring that I tell the artist's stories in a fascinating and captivating manner.

I lived in Oxfordshire until age 22 & have been lucky enough to see lots of live music growing up. This, and having an older brother who played drums in several bands inspired me to learn to play piano from a young age (though a bit rusty now!). I actually come from the food industry, no doubt influenced by having a mum who's a great cook - we always had homemade food around the house. I then trained as a professional chef in an Oxford University College. I love how surprising flavour can be when you experiment - similar to music really! I'm now in Devon, lapping up the views & coastal walks mostly with my partner who also specialisies in playlisting.

After studying Music Management at university, I started my career in the music industry through booking in 2017. I was excited to reinvent myself during the pandemic; building relationships with artists and securing multi-genre music campaigns online. I started working as a PR Manager for artists globally while living in Seoul where I was studying music production. I stayed there for 2 years collaborating with independent Korean labels. I moved back to my home country France in December 2021 where I continue to work in music PR. Decent allows me to do what I love most: being a part of (super talented) artists' journeys.

Radio Plugger

Originally born in Oxford but now living in London I've been involved in the music industry for over 15 years as a radio plugger, independent artist, producer and manager. I've worked with notable artists such as KRS-One, MC Lars, Kellindo Parker, Young Buck (G-Unit), Taz and a wealth of independent artists across the UK and America. I understand the importance and impact radio stations can have in helping an artist reach a wider audience. I've gained successful airplay from BBC One, 1xtra, Rinse and many other established stations as well as online, college and FM stations.

Growing up in a music loving family, my passion for music started from as early as I can remember and has only grown over the years. I’ve been songwriting since I was young and have over the years tried to immerse myself in music wherever I can and wherever I go. Being able to help artists push their career to places they’ve only dreamed of is one of the things I love the most about working at Decent.

Music has always been my driving passion. After finishing my masters degree in music, I was invited to conferences and events across Europe, building a network of academic and industry professionals. Having got stuck in a completely unrelated 9-5 job, as a result of the pandemic, I began writing and releasing music during lockdown, and met so many new talented artists.

Inspired to support these artists, I helped to establish Future Hits Radio. Dedicated to promoting unsigned and emerging music, 24/7. Working for Decent now means I can take this to the next level and offer artists more amazing opportunities, to get their music and their stories heard

Music manager who has been in the industry for 5 years working with some of the biggest acts like Jay1, Gino J, Hargo Productions and many more. Currently managing the careers of Temz and Icey Stanley, two up-and-coming artists. Additionally, I have worked on many tracks as an A&R including "Kisaan" produced by Coolie. My experience in the industry has given me a deep understanding of the music business and I am passionate about helping artists succeed which I share with my colleagues at Decent Music

After studying Media & Advertising at university, I began working in radio around Liverpool at Juice FM, now known as Capital. I would then continue within the music industry as a Label A&R / Music Content Admin. creating a number of relationships with artists, and helping create new labels and rank playlists on a number of streaming platforms. Shortly after the pandemic hit I had already begun DJing in a number of locations within the UK, Greece, and Spain, whilst also running a Youtube channel to help promote up and coming artists. I also regularly attend a number of festivals yearly, and continue to DJ in my spare time. Now with Decent, it allows me to help artists surpass their expectations and achieve the success they deserve
